Abstract: Abstract This chapter shortly introduces the general socio-economic and cultural context of two economically relatively stable countries, Ghana and Nigeria, which form part of Sub-Saharan Africa. It emphasizes the leading economic role of these two countries in the region, explains their cultural diversity and identifies some common cultural traits that might shape CSR related preferences of young job seekers.
