A chapter in Corporate Social Responsibility and Employer Attractiveness, 2021, pp 111-118 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Young job seekers in Georgia seem to appreciate the socially responsible inclination of prospective employers. They show interest for employer responsibility towards employees, a CSR dimension. In particular, they assign high importance to employees’ security and health and to job security and social services. Nonetheless, when seeking a job, they give the highest priorities to non-CSR attributes: career opportunities, work atmosphere and salary and material wealth. Socio-ecological or ethical aspects are less important for Georgian young job seekers. Predominant traditional and survival values in Georgian society as well as the relative recent development of CSR in the country explain, at least in part, the results of the analysis.
