Chapter Chapter 8 in Sustainable Governance, 2023, pp 103-116 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter focuses on sustainable governance in emerging economies, with a specific emphasis on the role of cultural peculiarities in sustainable governance practices, using the Russian case as an illustrative example. Additionally, it explores sustainable corporate governance practices in China and India, providing descriptive cases of particular companies to shed light on their approaches. By examining these emerging economies, the chapter aims to contribute valuable insights into the unique challenges and opportunities that arise in sustainable governance within diverse cultural and business contexts.
