Abstract:
Abstract This research attempts to examine the factors that affect graduates’ employability skills. This study adopts the CareerEDGE model to examine five factors impacting graduates’ employability namely Career Development Learning, Experience, Degree Subject Knowledge, Skills and Understanding, Generic Skills, and Emotional Intelligence. The Human Capital theory, Life Course theory, and The Theory of Multiple Intelligences were adopted to develop a research framework. This research adopted a quantitative method. The targeted population of this research is 153 employees from Brunei Darussalam, having at least 1 year of work experience. The data is analyzed through SPSS version 28.0. The research has found that career development learning and experience have a significant relationship with graduates’ employability.
