A chapter in Net Zero Economy, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Value Creation, 2024, pp 145-161 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Contemporary energy on a global level and the surging climate impact of non-clean energy sources have dictated the transition in the direction of renewable and sustainable energy. Significant climate change, helplessness, and scarce fossil energy are wake-up calls for Nepal’s essentiality of sustainable and renewable energy administration and strategy genesis to pledge net-zero carbon emission and sustainability of clean energy. This chapter demonstrates the overview of national policy in addressing the issues of transformation from fossil energy to green energy. This study adds to domestic and global sustainable energy policies by establishing commendations alongside nationally determined contributions (NDCs) to enhance the use of different renewable energy sources.
