Chapter Chapter 12 in Nonprofit Social Enterprises, 2024, pp 115-121 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Market leadership is basically the position an organization has in the industry by having either a monopoly of market share or profitability margin. Being preeminent in the market and thus being a dominant player in the industry have been a central strategy for many organizations. These organizations see market leadership as being the first movers in the industry in terms of technology or products/services introduced. Leadership in the market must be viewed both from the lens of the nonprofit and that of the for-profit entity in the SENO. This section analyzes market leadership as a tool for flourishing SENOs.
