Chapter Chapter 3 in Nonprofit Social Enterprises, 2024, pp 17-25 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The concept of organizational flourishing incorporates two dimensions of happiness: feeling good and functioning well. Individuals “feel good” has the capability of helping the employees functioning psychologically and socially well. This in turn influences the “functioning well” of the organizations’ outcomes with respect to flourishing. As highlighted earlier, flourishing individuals inform the flourishing of an organization. Therefore, organizations that aim to develop their workforce and provide an avenue for employee flourishing have more potential to flourish than those that do not provide flourishing avenues for their workforce.
