A chapter in Circular Economy in Sustainable Supply Chains, 2024, pp 131-150 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter lays the foundation for understanding sustainable supply chain management. Building on a definition of sustainable supply chains, it explains why robust supply chains are the basis for sustainable supply chains. Subsequently discussed supply chain management models are presented in an action-oriented way. The focus is on defining both the role of procurement and sales for the successful implementation of sustainable supply chains.
