A chapter in Sustainable Transformation and Well-being, 2025, pp 291-302 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter portrays the real-life case of Veroniek Vermeulen and her transformation from a ratio-driven successful businesswoman in an international consumer goods company to a passionate entrepreneur who has found meaning and purpose by supporting companies to create workplace environments that help women strive. Veroniek takes the reader on a journey that started in Nepal when she trusted her inner feeling and opted for paragliding in the Himalayan mountains instead of taking a meditation course. She openly shares her doubts and troubles as an entrepreneur and as a human being and provides insight into her private understanding of well-being and her learnings from entrepreneurship. Furthermore, this chapter reveals factors that affect women’s well-being at the workplace and offers solutions to overcome such challenges.
