Chapter Chapter 6 in Chinese Strategic Decision-making on CSR, 2015, pp 95-109 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this thesis, a conceptual framework is developed with two research aims: to examine the impact of stakeholder claims on managers’ CSR-related SDM concerning charitable donations, and to explore the role of organisational settings on the characteristics of decision-makers in CSR-related SDM. This study applies “an integrated model of strategic decision-making process” (see Sect. 5.4 ) into the CSR issues while developing the research model (see Sect. 5.5 ). According to the research findings, nine main hypotheses and including two sub-hypotheses are supported. However, five main hypotheses and including three sub-hypotheses are rejected. From the within-subjects and between-subjects perspective, this chapter explains the findings and compares them with previous research studies.
