Chapter Chapter 3 in Corporate Collapse and Corporate Governance, 2025, pp 57-80 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter advances a political approach, viewing corporations as polities with public and private dimensions. Drawing on Stephen Bottomley’s corporate constitutionalism, it explores how constitutional and political theory can enhance checks, balances, and legitimacy in corporate governance, and assesses its potential to address systemic weaknesses in the UK framework.
