Chapter Chapter 1 in Memetics and Evolutionary Economics, 2021, pp 1-13 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter provides a general editorial introduction to the book, positions it in the literature, and explains its rationale and contribution. This book is a collection of previously unpublished and already published work on what the author calls “economemetics”. All in all, this book presents a theoretical foundation and selected cases for economemetics, which is argued to have the potential to build bridges between various disciplines and approaches and is, therefore, suitable for combating the “siloism” or fragmentation of evolutionary economics.
