Chapter Chapter 3 in Economy and Disability, 2019, pp 23-31 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Our society is generally designed for “ordinaryOrdinary people” people. As a result, it tends to exclude people who are not sufficiently accommodated. The ordinary people often constitute majority, while those who are excluded become the minority. This chapter discusses three cases to illustrate how the “minority” suffers in our society. This chapter is also related to the subsequent theoretical chapters, especially Chapters 10 and 11, which study these phenomena in detail.
