Chapter Chapter 7 in Human Capital and Regional Development in Europe, 2022, pp 139-141 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter concludes the book that has presented new evidence on the long-run evolution of human capital at the regional level, taking a European approach. It discusses newest developments in this area by explicitly focussing on the impact of the coronavirus crisis on education. It puts the crisis also into a historical and regional perspective and shows future directions for education and research after COVID19.
