Abstract:
Abstract While the British and the Americans were establishing an American nation in New World, the French were trying to get some stability in their government after executing their monarch, Louis XVI in January of 1793. A coalition of neighboring states, including Austria, Prussia, Great Britain, the Dutch Republic, and Spain, attacked the French Republic, hoping to restore the French monarchy.
