A chapter in Navigating a Travelling Organization, 2022, pp 185-195 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter focuses on sources to navigate a complex organization in a crisis: which resources come from their historical purpose and aim. The authors introduce the situation of the German Catholic Church with its strategic and organizational challenges. Are there any resources with which the system and its members can face the upcoming radical transformation phase? It is an impulse for dialogue and also shows paths for different organizations on how to navigate in disruptive times. They combine different perspectives—theological and organizational development—bringing up impulses for different kinds of organization in their journey.
