The Role of “Navigators” in Travelling Organizations
Jürgen Scherer ()
A chapter in Navigating a Travelling Organization, 2022, pp 53-64 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The VUCA business world requires a more fluid and agile organizational setup to master the enterprise journey. This setup must help connect activities, build bridges, and synchronize projects. Navigation is defined as proactive workplace behavior by leading from within the organization, and by initiating, planning, and controlling the course of action. Navigators are the people within organizations that mobilize resources, make bold decisions, have a passion for executing on and achieving results, and transform agility in a business enterprise.
