Greenhouse Gas Protocol

Ovais Sarmad

Chapter 12 in The Sustainable Organization, 2025, pp 255-264 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter is about the intensity of the climate crisis in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals and more specifically about the measures to take in line with the Paris Agreement to address the root causes of climate change. There is a range of global agreements, treaties, mechanisms, and tools available to governments and private sector entities, and among those is the Greenhouse Gas Protocol which is an essential and critical starting point in measuring emissions based on which Climate Actions can be taken in a transparent and credible manner.
