A chapter in Mastering CommTech, 2025, pp 63-85 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Companies are typically managed through key performance indicator (KPI) systems. However, communication KPIs are often overlooked. Today, however, CommTech enables the measurement of many aspects that were previously hidden. In this chapter, the authors argue that communication managers should actively engage with KPIs and reporting to strengthen their strategic position within the organisation. The chapter also provides a theoretical foundation and practical experiences to guide companies in approaching this topic.
