Chapter 8 in New Business Organizational Models for Governing in Times of Change, 2025, pp 95-102 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter summarizes the monograph and calls for organizational governance to evolve in the presence of a VUCA scenario. It calls for a shift in the paradigm of classical HR models to futuristic, AI-driven models that facilitate greater agility, strategic choice, and stakeholder engagement. Theory contributions are expanding theory to the use of AI in change management, adapting industry-specific solutions, and incorporating ethical frameworks in AI implementation. Managerial and policy implications underscore the need for creating AI-ready cultures, strategic alignment, and accountable AI governance as ways of remaining competitive and viable. Limitations and possible paths for further research are delineated, with a focus on the value of longitudinal, empirical studies across numerous settings in establishing a deeper understanding of the power of AI to transform.
