Abstract: Abstract This chapter addresses innovation-promoting leadership from a strategic perspective at top management level. It examines the foundations of innovation strategy, introduces selected thinking and decision-making tools for strategic innovation management and discusses key strategic players. Central to this chapter is the link between vision and strategy development at executive level and the leadership measures derived from them in order to enable innovation.
