Chapter Chapter 11 in Managing Science, 2011, pp 243-268 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Science is of a “piece,” the whole piece being threaded together by methodology. The social sciences are different from the physical/biological sciences. But the skein of scientific method ties them all together. Although social science differs from the physical/biological sciences, it is not completely separable. Science is one. This is the perspective we have adopted in this book.
