Abstract:
Abstract The info-communication globalization is a dynamic process concerning transformation through digitalization of transactions in social, political and cultural systems (see also, Urry 2003; Gantzias 2001; Webster 2002; Nash 2008; Gantzias 2012). This type of digital globalization exerts strong pressure on the traditional banking and monetary systems. Mobile payments and the digital form of money, i.e., the Global Info-Cash (GIC) are likely to be a way for Greece to emerge from crisis by the 2015. The digitalization of payments transactions for sums exceeding 1,500 Euros together with the forthcoming new electronic taxis system after the Greek elections are serious indications that the Code of Digital Transactions (CO.D.TRA) as an idea for the mobile payments in Greece is an alternative way for battling tax evasion (see also, Gantzias 2012; Mavros 2011; The Daily Mirror 2011; Dicker 2007; Gantzias 2010; Tapscott 1996).
