Abstract:
Abstract In Search of Framework for Greening University, the first phase of the study, the exploratory research was conducted to be familiar with the social phenomenon and the unclear context under study. Research papers relating to greening university were collected and analyzed on theoretical sampling of grounded theory. The emerging theory controlled the collection and analysis of data in 97 research papers. The relevant literal codes/vivo codes were first identified. After that, open codes were socially constructed, open codes that represent a meaning were grouped as categories. Finally, the interrelationships among categories were identified under selective coding. In this passion, the theory was developed by abduction to find eight essential elements/processes of green university and their integration for designing a green university.
