Chapter Chapter 5 in Knowledge is Power, 2026, pp 77-88 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract As Bacon’s program began to unfold, scientific research, technological development, and production activities in Europe accelerated their evolution and became more closely intertwined. Against the backdrop of the Scientific Revolution, the Enlightenment, and the Industrial Revolution, advances in any one of these fields fed into the others by providing conceptual tools, experimental devices, and practical challenges, thus creating multiple reciprocal stimuli that spurred further progress in all.
