Abstract:
Abstract It deals with the patterns of regional origin of manufacturing exports from India during 1991–2008. It reviews the export performance of six subnational regions in India and analyzes inter-state variation in manufacturing exports. It shows a high degree of regional concentration of firms’ exporting and divergent performance of Indian states.
