Abstract: Abstract This chapter reviews various theoretical and empirical studies related to health care. It covers both Indian and various countries’ experience. The countries other than India include European countries, African nations, American and Latin American countries and Asian nations. Various dimensions across geographical regions, healthcare inputs and input utilization and health outcome aspects have been synthesized through this review chapter.
