Chapter Chapter 2 in Supply Chain Social Sustainability for Manufacturing, 2019, pp 11-80 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter carries out a comprehensive review of the background literature pertaining to social sustainability and the ways in which social sustainability in the supply chain has been perceived and practised. The review will act as one of the vital prerequisites for conducting the structural research. A detailed review of the prior research in the related fields not only assists in identifying the research gaps, but also helps in formulating the hypotheses and identifying the independent and dependent variables related to them.
