Abstract:
Abstract The objective of the chapter is to gain an understanding of the practices related to risk management and to test the methodological strength of the three indices, namely, risk indexRisk index , risk disclosure index and risk governance indexRisk governance index . For the purpose, two companies have been selected and the practice-oriented, comparative case studyCase study method has been used to analyse these companies. One of the selected companies, Cyient Ltd., ranks as the overall best performer in terms of the three indices during the period under study and the other company, MMTC Ltd., turns out to be the worst performer.
