Chapter 14 in Employment in the Informal Sector in India, 2022, pp 137-138 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The previous chapters have flagged off issues which historically are left as unsolved puzzles. The puzzles remain in Indian official statistics, collection of data, macroeconomic indicators, and policy responses. The analytical understanding is also not clear. The future also seems to be bleak. This concluding chapter leaves a few notes which need to be resolved by the country planners and theoretical research.
