Abstract:
Abstract The outbreak of novel Coronavirus (henceforth COVID-19) pandemic in December 2019 is undoubtedly the major economic and health shock of the century. Till date the mortality from COVID infection has touched 2.63 million worldwide and the case-loads are still increasing in many parts of the world. The book is an attempt to understand issues pertaining to human development, community networking and public services delivery with special reference to contemporary India from a humane perspective. Some of the chapters of the book deal with issues pertaining health, education and other relevant social sector parameters in the post-Covid context.
