Chapter Chapter 2 in India’s Producer Companies and Small Farmers, 2024, pp 29-49 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter examines the processes and models of organisation and promotion of four PCs in Uttar Pradesh in the light of policy thrust on promotion such entities on a large scale with public funding support. Based on empirical evidence from four PCs promoted by two different promoters, it assesses the physical and financial performance and member impact of these PCs.
