Chapter Chapter 1 in Strategic Human Resource Management in Higher Education, 2023, pp 2-26 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Universities enhance the cognitive, functional, and attitudinal skills for the holistic development of students (Gacel-Avila, 2005). Universities are an integral part of society and are expected to establish a dynamic equilibrium with the community while focusing on the economic, social, and environmental perspectives. Thus, educational institutions exist for the betterment of society and, accordingly, need to give back their best to the community and the organisation based on the prevailing scenario.
