Chapter Chapter 3 in Wireless Network Design, 2011, pp 47-64 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Wireless communication has evolved significantly, over the past several decades, to meet the ever-growing demand for high data rates over the wireless medium. Systems have been designed for indoor applications and outdoor applications where mobility is a very important aspect of system specification. One of the key elements in the design of such systems is understanding the characteristics of the wireless channel [7, 10, 13, 16, 22, 23, 25, 28, 31, 30, 34].
