A chapter in The Security of Critical Infrastructures, 2020, pp 193-206 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Research on recommender systems is used to propose an automated defense system for critical infrastructures that does not require information about the attacker; moreover, it can handle very short forewarning times. Data from past attacks are continuously recorded and analyzed in order to develop more effective responses. In contrast to approaches that rely on robustness and hence require large investments, the system becomes the more effective the more often it is attacked.
