Abstract: Abstract Based on existing structures of sites and capacities, new mathematical models for hierarchical scheduling of operations in generic multi-stage networks are developed in the book Scheduling in Green Supply Chain Management: A Mixed-Integer Approach. This chapter summarizes the main results of the book and provides starting points for further research in green supply chain management.
