Abstract This chapter describes four long-term power system planning problems that can be expressed and solved as Adaptive Robust Optimization (ARO) models. These four problems are: 1. Generation expansion planning. 2. Generation and transmission expansion planning. 3. Transmission expansion planning. 4. Long-term hydroelectric scheduling.
