Chapter Chapter 2 in Data Mining and Analytics in Healthcare Management, 2023, pp 7-19 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter considers knowledge management relative to healthcare. Information technology has been widely applied, in the form of electronic healthcare data systems and other forms of business intelligence. Data is available not only from these electronic data records, but also from social media platforms and machine-to-machine sources. Medical data comes in many forms to include biometric and text. Automated knowledge management systems can sometimes provide real-time response to decision-making in fast-moving crises.
