Chapter Chapter 4 in Strategic Approach in Multi-Criteria Decision Making, 2024, pp 73-80 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Decisions are taken by human beings. It does not matter how many different methods are available for this activity and how accurate they seem to be; they are simply tools to organize and process information and to support the DM. Once the processing of data is finished, they provide results but not definite valuable conclusions. It is the decision-maker who analyzes this information and decides and advices the stakeholders based on it. This chapter is devoted to examining the functions of this important entity that has a great responsibility, and that must provide realistic and well-founded conclusions for the Board of Directors to make the final decision.
