A chapter in Combinatorial Optimization and Applications, 2024, pp 1-14 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This book aims to honour the memory and scientific legacy of Professor Bernard Gendron, who left this world in July 2022, by providing a state-of-the-art reference for researchers and graduate students in Operations Research, Combinatorial Optimization, and related fields, through a combination of surveys, expository articles, and focused methodological and applied chapters. The range of topics addressed is as broad as the interests of Bernard Gendron, and includes modelling, algorithmic, and application aspects of packing, facility location, network design, scheduling, routing, and transportation planning.
