Abstract: Abstract The surge in e-commerce has revolutionized customer access to a global marketplace, offering a seamless experience from product selection to payment. Expectations for swift, competitively priced, and well-coordinated deliveries are high. However, the operational challenges posed by global supply chains, spanning extensive distances, are substantial. To meet these challenges, retailers often rely on dependable fourth-party logistics (4PL) providers for efficient and customer-centric goods delivery. Recognizing the significance of this, a comprehensive review of logistics providers becomes imperative, utilizing proper analytical techniques. This study introduces a novel approach for assessing resilient 4PLs, using the intuitionistic fuzzy Dombi–Bonferroni (DOBI) method as its foundation. The methodology was validated and applied to evaluate resilient 4PL providers for an Indian online retailer based in Kochi, specializing in the delivery of live plants across the country. The results offered valuable insights, aiding the retailer in making informed decisions regarding their product delivery partnerships.
