Chapter Chapter 14 in Multi-Criteria Decision Making with Partial Preference Information, 2026, pp 247-263 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Decision Support Systems (DSSs) are indispensable when conducting decision-making processes since they implement mathematical models and promote interaction with actors involved in decision processes. The FITradeoff method has been implemented in a Decision Support System (DSS). This system can be used by any Decision Maker who aims to solve deterministic Multi-Criteria Decision Making/Aiding (MCDM/A) problems, and who has a compensatory rationality. This DSS is flexible since DMs can use the two paradigms for preference modeling—holistic evaluation and elicitation by decomposition. Also, it is interactive, since DMs participate in the whole process by expressing their preferences.
