Abstract:
Abstract Forestry is the natural resource industry most dominated by spatial considerations. Forests are an extensive resource typically spread out over millions of hectares. In this paper we focus on the industrial aspects of forestry, and some location issues that flow from these. This is in contrast to a focus on location analysis and then asking about its applications in forestry.
