Abstract: Abstract Structural dynamics is a theory that originated in the field of earthquake engineering and computational mechanics (Paz 1990; Clough and Penzien 1993; Chopra 2011; Humar 2012). The major principles of structural dynamics theory relate to discrete and continuous systems subject to mechanical system response to dynamic loads. Another industry stream of structural dynamics theory has been developed in the aerospace control in the area of complex structure coordination (Kalinin and Sokolov 1996; Okhtilev et al. 2006). Generally speaking, engineering approaches to structural dynamics control dealt with coordination of complex networks, the behaviour of which may be affected by internal and external disturbances.
