Chapter Chapter 20 in Data Envelopment Analysis in the Financial Services Industry, 2018, pp 355-356 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This volume offers what we believe to be a fair representation of the state of DEA as applied to financial services and related organizations. While we focus only on financial services, our experience with DEA in applications to other fields including health care, energy, and agriculture would suggest that DEA applications are no more developed outside of financial services, and many would agree that outside of financial services, applications have been less developed. In short, we suggest that this volume reflects the levels of success, limitations, and use of DEA in practice, albeit focused on the financial services domain.
