Abstract:
Abstract The chapter describes a collaborative learning experience in higher education carried out through the use of the Additional Collaborative Tool Padlet. The study refers to a master course focused on Organizational Development and based on the EMI—English as a Medium of Instruction methodology. Starting from a focus on collaborative learning strategies literature and the proposal of Additional Collaborative Tool in Higher Education, the chapter presents the design process of an online activity based on the use of Padlet, an online whiteboard that offers space for multiple participants to collaborate in real time. Students’ feedback about the Padlet experience has been collected and analyzed (The Organizational development. Teaching and learning methods course was jointly conducted by Prof. Monica Fedeli, University of Padua, and Prof. Laura Bierema, Georgia State University. The authors, Daniela Frison and Concetta Tino, jointly led the online activities and conceived of the presented idea. Daniela Frison led the design of the study and edited Sects. 4 and 5. Concetta Tino edited Sect. 1. The authors jointly discussed the results and edited Sects. 2, 3, and 6.).
