Chapter 16 in Managing Learning Enterprises, 2024, pp 247-262 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This entitled “Complementarity of religious indoctrinations and spiritual practices and learning organizations” from the third part of the book Managing Learning Enterprises entitled “Possibilities of implementing the concept of a learning organization and a learning enterprise” analyzes various philosophical and religious indoctrinations and spiritual practices, especially those developed in the East and compares them with the ideas of the learning organization. The development of Eastern culture was analyzed in particular from the perspective of Hinduism, Confucianism, and Islam, and a correspondence of values with the ideas of the learning organization was established. Spiritual practices such as meditation, transcendental meditation, and mindfulness or flow and their benefits for the development of learning individuals were also examined. The chapter ends with a discussion of the Chinese spiritual ideal of harmony.
