Chapter 5 in Innovations in Distribution Logistics, 2009, pp 69-88 from Springer

Abstract: Summary Supply Chain Management (SCM) is an important activity in all producing organizations. To determine efficient policies over a given time interval, it is necessary to consider a simultaneous dynamic estimation and optimization algorithm over the disposable data base. The aim of this paper is to present the Data Driven algorithm, describe its implementation and show through some preliminary applications its potential advantages. To ensure that Certainty Equivalent optimal policies prevail this aspect will be analyzed.
