Chapter Chapter 7 in Performance Analysis of Closed Queueing Networks, 2013, pp 159-160 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract We investigated closed queueing networks with general processing times and finite buffer capacities. The processing time distribution was specified by the first two moments or by phase-type distributions. Under these assumptions, an approximate and an exact approach for the performance analysis of the first-moment performance measures were proposed. Moreover, an exact method for the determination of the distribution of the time between processing starts of CQN was derived.
