Abstract:
Abstract The paper deals with the organization of fiber-optic communication lines and their components. An approach to solving the problem of choosing the types of transceivers for multiplexing systems for fiber-optic communication lines based on formalization in the form of a nonlinear integer programming problem is proposed. A method is presented for obtaining an exact solution to the problem using the Pyomo optimization package and the BONMIN MINLP solver, which requires a significant amount of time to solve, which is advisable to use at the network design stage.
